Do Remember These Books?

Today in 1862, Edward L. Stratemeyer was born. His claim to fame is that he was author of more than 800 books including The Bobbsey Twins, The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Rover Boys, and Tom Swift.

The unique thing about Mr. Stratemeyer was that he had over 60 pen-names, like: Arthur Winfield, Franklin W. Dixon and even as a women named Laura Lee Hope.

Anyway I remember reading Nancy Drew when I was younger. Those were great stories. I really loved it that she had a girl-friend named George.

Today I was going to share some experiences from Annual Meeting but I recall being told not to put it anywhere electronic. So I'll abide by that but if you have questions or want to hear any experiences, give me a call sometime! It was the best experience I've had yet! The whole program was geared toward those who had served in full-time service for a long time and it was so encouraging. One point that was made, that stood out to me, is that the Bible tells us that we are living NOT ONLY in the last days, but in the FINAL PART OF THE LAST DAYS. So we are so close to the prize...we should be ever more diligent about making sure we're at the meetings, cultivating our relationship with Jehovah, and reading the Bible daily.

So with that thought, I hope everyone's Monday is like ours out here on the East coast. It's bright and sunny and the air is crisp as only you would expect of a autumn morning.
Enjoy!
