Lindi's Top Moments of 2006

January - wasn't the greatest month. On the positive note I learned to like living alone. That was pretty cool!

February - Amy moves to Lincoln and becomes my roommate!

March - I sell the house and we get ready to move to a new apartment.

April - My highlight this month was the Special Assembly Day. It helped me feel back on track in a way I haven't felt in so long. Also, we moved. It was great! Oh, and I started planning "The Girl's Trip" to Estes Park, Colorado!

May - I don't remember this month very well. It's all a blur. End of school craziness and the preparations for summer school to start... Not a good month, not a bad month, just super fast. (What I do for my job will just have to be another story. And believe me it comes with plenty of stories!) Oh, I just got out my calendar and see that Uncle Andy and Aunt Annette came to visit me the last weekend in May. That definitely counts as a highlight.

June - Another month of very crazy busy time. The invitation work to the District Assembly was so much fun! I also make a very sudden mad dash to Casper, Wyoming to visit my cousin Alethea (dad's side of the fam)! I love road trips!

July - District Assembly!

August - Divorce is FINAL finally! I am so happy I don't have that hanging over my head any more.

September - Has a TON of highlights....

• Road trip to Estes Park, Colorado. Amy and I drive out to Colorado and meet up with all the girl cousins (on my dad's side of the family) for a great retreat in the mountains. Besides being all together, the Estes Park congregation was awesome! Their 30 publishers were well out numbered on Sunday meeting with an attendance of 79! Lots of visitors!
• Getting to work my first assignment with the Regional Building Committee for the Kimball, Nebraska Kingdom Hall building project.
• Leased my own car! In a crazy turn of events I get a 2007 Subaru Impreza for a smokin' deal! AND
• My "little" brother gets MARRIED! I keep forgetting he is 21 now.

October - Distribution of the Kingdom News 37 begins! and I go to Spokane to visit family I haven't seen in like.....forever!

November - I get my own apartment! I get to paint my own apartment - the way I want to - and the landlord's paying for it! (in a monetary way, not because I am such a bad painter he'll be sorry when I move out kind of way)

December - Mom and dad come for a weekend and the circuit assembly! On a truly down note - I have all four of my wisdom teeth out and get dry socket on the bottom ones from being super sick with the anesthesia! Long story short - three weeks later I am still rinsing with salt water and trying to recover!

And now it's on to 2007!
