hey beaner! i love u! i have a terrible memory but ill try this one.
(in no order)
1. Unassigned territory in Utah- I met some awesome ppl, had a rad time with my friends, but it was definitely the fact that our WHOLE family was together for the first time in five years that made it stinkin rad. oh yeah and the whole service thing, too. yeah yeah. jk that was real cool too. crazy mormons.
2.(copying Alonna)Was short on my time by only 19 hours!!- i was lazy then i was crazy. COUNT IT! Good times out in service all year, really, we had such god support i love all my pioneer partners!
3. Recording FTB's first album- It was so much fun taking an ENTIRE weekend in September(friday thru monday) to record an eight-song LP in my own basement. My friend Chris from Vancouver came up with a LOT of equip to record. my room and hallway outside looked so pro it was ridiculoso. We'll get it released soon, but we're real slow. and poor. like a drunk hobo. but u can listen to some tracks at myspace.com/thefrenchtoastbandits.com
4. Alex and Shelah's wedding in November- Good times. Well, for me at least. i had fun. thanks homeys! i wore a tux, fool.
5. Death Cab for Cutie concert/road trip- Took Emily and Hillary this past weekend with me to Seattle on a last hurrah before they move. Rad music, Sushi, getting lost, and torrential rain. oh and Death Cab. They were amazing. I'm gonna miss them. The girls, not deathcab, they'll be back. altho ben...i love ben. ill be his surrogate father.
6. FTB/DNA show at my house- Over a hundred ppl showed up at my house in March for a rock-stravaganza. Lights, fog, and freezing temps made this the rockin-est show of the century. Were u there? if not, then ur a square.
7. Trip to England- Met new awesome ppl, went somewhere i never been before. in fact, it was a trip of firsts: First passport stamp(andticlimactic). First time driving on the left(scary). First beer without Dad(delicious). First flight over the Atlantic(barfy)(there was a girl i sat next to who got sick. not cool). First time I've truly had no clue of where i was going. it was fun. such good food. London. Pubs. my BEAUTIFUL SISTERS. congrats ladies!
8. Hot tub party at Travis' new pad- Fun time, man, highlight of the trip to Portland. even better than the Protest the Hero show. gald i met ur new gf, shes cool too.
9. Working on/ Doing the Drama- I was a stagehand at the drama this year. it was so much fun! i missed several saturdays but it was worth it in the end. altho the altar didnt explode correctly. the rest went well. stupid altar. all the new bros and sis's i met and got to know so well was def the best part.
10. All the good times i had with my good friends that made up an amazing year. I cant remember all the good times i had, so i'll conglomerate them all into this one. i love each and every one of u. except u. thanks for makin my year RAD!!!
