Encyclopedia Kinda Beige-ish

In the not too distant past I was absorbed in a book called "Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life" recommended to me by Miss Lyss. The author, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, made up commentaries on things like "Introducing a Friend to a Friend", "Wallet, Forgotten", "Compliments", "Answering Machines", and lots of childhood, teenager, adulthood memories (complete with timelines). As I read it over a series of weeks (slow reader-have to sound out the words) I began to mentally catalog everyday items or actions or sayings that I generally take for granted.

However because I had not scribbled down ANY of them I've forgotten most if not...yep that's right, they're all out of my head. All that running commentary and observation lost for lack of sleep and attention span. And a handy napkin.

Yet if you were to do the same thing, what would you include in your Encyclopedia of Ordinary Life? What would you speculate, mock, investigate, expand on?

So let's start a game...beginning with the letter A -the next person does B...alphabetically going down the line (if you need help with your ABC's call me up and I'll sing them to you). Each person comes up with their own Topic starting with their letter and run wild! I know you want to! So I guess I'll put down my A Topic first to start it off... next person please do B...etc TA!
