We sat through 6 hours of up and down emotional sequence after emotional sequence believing this story the be-all, end-all of every love-hate saga.
Yet, Jess found a BBC series that tops, yes actually is better than Pride & Prejudice!! (Shocking I know) You thought that the quiet smoldering that took place at Longborn and Pemberly, respectively, could not be out-done, yet it has been …just watch North & South (BBC). Tell me that Mr. Thornton’s “Look back. Look back at me” doesn’t make you scream at the television, “OH C’MON AND LOOK BACK AT HIM!!”
Wow. On a rainy weekend afternoon, girls, if there isn’t anything more to do, rent it, order it, why not just go out and buy it. You’ll thank me for this tip, and Jess for her ingenious choice. Was it destiny? Oh let’s not all be silly girls now….
