Lyssa's Top Ten

** Note from the Author: These are in no order what so ever.....**

1> Pioneer Service School: anyone who has ever been knows that its literally the best two weeks of your life. Their is a lot of studying and prep but you really learn so much about the truth and about Jehovah and how wonderful it is to be in his organization. PSS was really something that I have been waiting for my entire life and it surpassed expectations a hundred fold. Pioneering is such a gift from Jehovah and with His service at first place in my life, it has helped me to stay focused.

2> The Circuit Assembly: I know not everyone has had theirs for this service year so I won't spoil it. But it was one of the best assemblies I have ever been to and it really encouraged me.

3> July 3, 2005: Well this wasn't exactly a GOOD thing that happened but it was defiantly significant. I got into a car accident that went bye bye Saturn and bye bye wrist. (btw if you ever want to know if its going to rain the next day, just ask my wrist. It can tell. :p )

4> Trips: I went away a lot this year. Which is always a lovely thing in my opinion. We had San Diego (it's such a great city even in a cast!), Disneyland (First day of the New Space MT!), RFT-Boston (even though I was freezing cold and we had a smoking hotel room, I had such a blast and feel in love with the city! oh and yea I got to climb John Harvard haha: quack quack!), New Hampshire ("say coffee again you flat-lander!" haha), RFT-Philly (okay so even though we got yelled out by gangsta tweens, It was gooood times, thx to Becs for telling them to MIND THEIR MANNERS! haha. we also found Witnesses out in the Ministry and got to see some good ol fashioned Indian Leg Wrestling oh and THE REAL WORLD HOUSE! that's riggght folks!) , Cape May (ume whats better then the Beach and good ol fashioned Girl bonding?! (esp over PANCAKES!) oh and I heart AMH aka "the Geek" and "And yes, I will dance with you on our wedding night.") and DC (even though this was a solo trip, I had such a lovely time because I heart DC!!).

5> Superbowl Weekend: Even though New England won, it was such an amazing week end and one impossible to forget...and filled with free Smiles! >>> "Lyssie, we're fat"~Cammie, age 3 >>> haha I love that child, STILL makes me Smile!!!!

6> CIAT: Okay guys, skip this section if you don't want to hear mushiness... I really love reading this blog everyday. And it has always helped to lift my not-so-good days this past year. So thank you so much to Nina for always being a consistent blogger and for being such a wonderful friend!!!

7> Dinner and a Movie: one of my favorite things is good friends and good food. So I honestly love dinner parties. I went to a few very lovely ones this year and each one is memorable. I think its always a comfort to know your surrounded by people who care about you. *snuggles* Also. the movie musical classic, the Sound of Music. How many times did we watch that this year? haha.

8> Prayers: Jehovah has truly answered a lot of my prayers and fulfilled so many of my needs this year. One of the most interesting things about getting your prayers answered is it is not always in the way you think it SHOULD be. But Jehovah is NEVER late and He always fulfills His promises. And I have felt very sustained by Jehovah and it has helped to deepen my relationship with him.

9> Friends: This probably will be on my list for the next million years because the people in my life are always very important to me. I have made some new friends this year and I have gotten closer to some acquaintances. I am so thankful to all my friends, epically the ones I'm closest to. They always seem to know if I need to vent or just want to goof off. I am also thankful to Jehovah's Organization, who really brings people together in times of need. Its a beautiful arrangement to see. My friends help to keep me sane! XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

10> PFF ITS OVEEEEER!: honestly 2005 has kinda been a blah year for me. I was sick a lot and withdrew somewhat into my self because of it. But it also taught me some very important lessons. And when it comes down to it, I'm just looking forward to 2006!!

** Just a note on Goals: if you write them down and put them in your planner or date book you will be more apt to accomplish them! **

Goals for 2006:
1> Never miss the Daily Text.
2> Keep my closet and desk organized.
3> Get 3 As in the spring semester. (I’d shoot for an A in all my classes, but lets be realistic!)
4> Run/Exercise on a more regular basis.
5> Write on a more regular basis.
