I apologize Court...something is going on with Snapfish so I couldn't link any pictures to your post. This is the best I could do...
1. Cruise- Hands down one of the best weeks ever! The places were beautiful, we had fun nearly non-stop, and the company was awesome. I can't even begin to pick a favorite moment from this week, because they were all great. But, the list would definitely include: Messages in a bottle, Red Light Green Light on the deck, Many nights looking at the stars from the front of the boat, Ted singing kareoke, Sarah and Mike performing Billy Joel, The Piano Man, Cowboy Hats, Cave Tubing/Zip-Lining, Nights in the Chamber, Our Formal Nights, Indian Men, the ONE day we went to the gym, Midnight buffets, swimming in the ocean at night, Veronica's Romanian man...and I'd better stop there, because I could keep going on, and on, and on...
2. England- Another one of those "best weeks ever"! It feels like so long ago, but it was actually less than a year ago that Sarah, Nola, Candace, and I took the UK by storm. We met some great people, saw lots of beautiful sites (including PARIS Nola!!), and bonded over water and hyperventalating laughter.
3. RFTBO- The 3rd installment of the RFT trips! Good times were definitely had (don't let the pictures of me falling asleep in the stores fool you!) Honestly, what did you expect...a cool city plus a spanish fleet full of girls...good times are bound to take place. Among the highlights: the car ride there, going around Boston with duck whistles, surprise visitors Saturday night, the best dessert EVER (ask alyssa, can, and abi if you dont believe me), Round 2 of the Sarah/Veronica sumo burger king (ok, so it was mcdonalds this time) showdown, fitting into a shuttle van, and drunk women who don't understand how elevators work. And I got the new edition of true colors!
4. The sleepover after Sue's party- I don't think I've ever laughed so much in one night. From dragging Nina across the floor (you know you love us for that), to getting mooned, to determining where sunflower seeds come from, to our spiritual conversations, to the nin discussion, to some non-deep statements about people being asleep (I dont know what the point was anymore), to deciding that talking about guys is more interesting than talking about fruit...and barking FRUIT, FRUIT, FRUIT. I'm sure I forgot stuff too..
5. Sue's Graduation Weekend in NJ- Yet another amazing weekend with the girls. Highlights: hanging out on the beach at night, running to see the pizza boy and then everybody running into the wrong room, watching my hot anthony michael hall, disney tunes in the pool, ice scream...which i proceeded to smear all over my face and white clothing (is there any other way to eat it?)...and signing documents on the car ride home ;-)
6. RFTPA- Philly! Okay, so some of the things didn't work out perfectly...ie: Edgar Allen Poe's House isn't the greatest national site and walking the slums of PA might not be on America's finest walking tours. But thats what made philly so great...we had fun even while doing the craziest stuff! I still fondly remember creating our EAP society and Sarah getting yelled at by the crazy Poe woman when she flipped out. And who can forget the montages?! The thought of getting a plastic gun held to my head while we walked through the ghetto is giggle worthy (since we made it out alive), and watching sue and abi frolic through the tulips next to a cop car was nice too. And this was definitely the trip of debates...definitely a weekend of good memories.
7. Jack Johnson- Yay, Jack! The day started out perfectly, as we ate Chipotle for lunch (yum) and watched Sue pick the tomatoes out of her tacos. The concert was amazing...outdoors and he played awesome. Afterwards, a few of us got to see Manhattan at night from Beccas office...one of the best views I've seen of it, hands down. And the night ended with Abi, Candace, and I curing our "contact munchies" late at night in the Wendy's parking lot.
8. England the Second Time Around- I definitely didn't think I'd see London twice in the same year. All I can say is that I'm still in awe by Camden Town...the place is amazing...and tara and i both spent way too much money in shoes there!
9. Getting Bailey- This is the first dog that is entirely mine...not just a family pet. So, as annoying as it is to clean up after him (still workin' on that potty training), he's so adorable and he makes me smile (no matter how hyper he is!)
10. My High School Observations- Okay, so this really wasn't fun...it was actually kind of tedious (I had to spend 50 hours in high school) But, in the same respect, it did make me eager to be a teacher. It was fun to be surrounded by high school kids...and I even got offerred a hug! (Although, out of professional duty and personal interest...i declined.)
