Tuesdays are the apparent new music day for most radios and for iTunes. So Tuesday is now my own personal New Music Day. In an effort to expand horizons I will list a few of the songs I've come across in recent months and weeks. It doesn't have to be a new release, just new to this site.
Anyway, speaking of music, isn't it amazing how much music is being produced now-a-days? Just think of the hundreds of different genres, and the thousands of artists in each catergory. Then multiply all that by the number of songs each produces and the figures are staggering! And still there is much music to be made and stories to be told and sentiments to be expressed in song.
It truly is a testiment to the fact that we will never cease to have things to do and enjoy, and that the human brain is always creating. If our desire to create never ceases, and being that we're created in God's image, have you ever wondered if Jehovah will continue to create again in the future? What new creations and marvels will he make for our investigation, wonder, use, and pleasure? What further advancements will be possible with perfect human brains and bodies and an eternity to try them out? What are some of the things you've always wanted to study, create, or perfect?
This past weekend was our District Convention Weekend. I'll have a few points to share (without revealing the publication(s) or spoiling anything) tomorrow. But what a wonderful convention and such a lovely time with friends and family. Ever just stop and absolutely appreciate having the truths of life so conveniently at your fingertips? And pausing to thankfully acknowledge the special friendships with such a beautiful variety of people? That was the entire weekend's theme.
