We're getting ready for another unassigned trip to one of three places: North Carolina(I love hurricane season, West Virginia (I love coal), or Pennsylvania (I love bonnets) sometime around the end of August. Hopefully we'll have the same crew as last year AND THEN SOME...though we'll have a few who won't be able to make it due to the sudden cases of pregnancy going around our congregation. We look forward to their speedy recovery....
Anyway, unassigned territory-the two times I've done it- has always produced great stories to tell, and closer friendships too.
Once in South Dakota with a group of girls and one solitary brother and another time in West Virginia with a group of looney's just released from the institute.
I'm sure many of you have some experiences from Unassigned/Seldom worked territory...eachtime is an excellent opportunity to give a witness...and have lots of fun!
