Worst Song Lyrics EVER!!

Freddie Mercury, from Queen, once said, "People are always asking me what my lyrics mean. Well I say what any decent poet would say if you dared ask him to analyze his work: if you see it, darling, then it's there. "

Well sometimes we need a little more than that to come to a full understanding of the terrible lyrics that pop up on the musical scene from time to time. If they mean something to the musician, great! But let's share with the whole class, alright?! Then again there were those drug-induced songs that leave all of us void of a reason, including the composer himself...but where would we be without these little hiccups? No Mellow Yellow? No Crimson and Clover? No Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds? I don't think so!!

Without further ado, these were the two songs I picked for this episode of

Worst Song Lyrics EVER!!

(From the Humpty Dumpty Love Song-Travis)
Cos all I need is you
I just need you
Yeah, you got the glue
So I'm going to give my heart to you

Dunno why but I laughed when I heard that part of the song. It makes sense...it just seems so un-romantic to me..."Baby, you got the glue!"

And a Classic Lyrical blunder....

(From I Am I Said-Neil Diamond)
"I am," I said
To no one there
An no one heard at all
Not even the chair

Add your own and have a great weekend!
