I feel compelled to send a note of congratulations to all the winners but I keep running into the same problem...Verachuckanddave and Mrkite don't live at Abbey Road anymore. Besides they're a couple of Day Trippers and I think they took a train out to Eleanor Rigby's place where she lives in a dream...
Ok so that was cheesy but I was on a tangent (digression if you will). For those of you who don't have any idea what I'm talking about, the preceding paragraph was all Beatles references.
Anyway here's another contest to participate in, provoked by the Brainstorm Man himself. In your Algebra class did you ever do this? Take a word like FROG and change it one letter at a time to make another word so you'd end up with the word CALM...or something like that. Example: turn FOX into CAT-->FOX, FAX, FAT, CAT...see it's easy.
So I'll give you a few different problems and who ever gets them all with the least amount of words wins (and they all have to be REAL words...I'll accept words from different languages but you have to define them). The winner will get a $25 gift certificate to their choice of Amazon.com, RedEnvelope.com, Foot Locker, Pottery Barn, Bed Bath and Beyond, or to my personal favorite OMAHA STEAKS!
THE PROBLEMS:
SHOE->HOME
POT-> BIG
CHARM->SHOUT
AND THEY'RE OFF......
