You don't have to be in school to go on Spring Break. Names of people currently on Spring Break:
Becca Nikonchuk, Mike Dellaquila, Susan Chevalier, Katie Haase, Courtney Clark(e), Candace Hope, Sarah Dellaquila, Nola Gaffney, and Me.
I've been lax about this site this week. It's all due to the fact that I've been in preparation mode for a very busy week, starting today. Of course we kick off our tour with the Memorial tonight. Ours is at 9:00 pm...oy! But that's what comes of having 4 congregations in one Kingdom Hall. I think there's even one happening AFTER ours! What time IS sunset today? Will we even be able to see the sun (or full moon) here in Brooklyn?
Thereafter it's back to the ol' pad to finish some last minute packing for tomorrow and the next two weeks. See tomorrow Jess and I set off to help prepare for our friend Gretel's first marriage. Don't know why I said first but at least that gives a little bit of importance and emphasis to the occasion...you can image the nerves being set on edge! However the interesting part of all this wedding stuff...other than the wedding itself, of course...is that I will be in charge of bossing people around for the rehearsal walk down and recession!!
Saturday will be an equally bossy day for me as Jess had to for-go her wedding planning duties for a day so she could jump into another skirt of Bride's Maid. Awwww! I, though not a bride's maid myself, will look just as ornamental in a long red skirt. YAY!
Saturday after the reception, it's back to Brooklyn with a Bethelite and a Texan! Sounds like a joke but it's not. Early Sunday morning I hop a flight to Spokane, Washington where I will meet my Mom, Dad, Bubba, and Chester with open arms and paws (Chester is their dog).
In the meantime, some of you will be coming back from your vacations so we'd all love to hear from you. I'll try to update this site when I'm gone...if I get to a computer. May you have a Awesome Spring Break!
