For The Creative Expressive Minds

Monday morning...yup this is a weekly reminder that I need more time ...and need more sleep. Usually a lack of it will squelch my ability to speak, be normal, and/or be creative. Others are the exact opposite and insomnia seems to work for them.

So speaking of creativity, Miss Candace Hope of the Long Isle has inspired me with today's post. Well what it is is this. Candace works for Starbucks and found out that the quotations they print on their cups are no longer restricted to famous people. They've opened up submissions to the public!! Which means I went nuts and submitted multiple entries (all stuff that I've shared here except maybe one or two poems). NO LIMITS MAKE ME GO CRAZY!!!

However I was thinking this would be great for the average Caught In A Thought frequenters who are by no means average in their expressions here. This is the link to THE WAY I SEE IT! So if you end up submitting something you haven't shared here, we would love to find out what it is and maybe keep on the look-out for it when we're enjoying our Double Espresso Machiato.

(below is one of my submissions that I have not shared on Caught in aThought yet)
Might I claim thee amount the few
Of Famous Irish Poets who
Scribe their lines
And write their rhymes
Who wish their thoughts the words construe
Who tend to spend fine bright days
With eyes intently fixed to gaze
A striking thought
To be caught
And converted into lays
Be your lines inspired to turn
The heart of a girl that your own does yearn
The love you rue
That continues through
Day and Night, your love to spurn
Oh you deep and riddled man
Shall I ever understand
Why your letter Is far better
Than words you've spoken on command
