Court Decision: Best Year Yet

From Courtney Clarke!!! (I heart Long Island)

here is my top 10 list for 2004. hope its not too late.....dun dun dun

10. College- not that its new to me or anything, since this was my junior year, but it took me this long to get used to it. I finally figured out how to get A's and do no work! YES! haha. But, in reality I finally feel comfortable there, so it's all good

9. My trip to Massachusettes. I got to spend time with bean towners, and went to a wicked cool 80's party...a la cure style. And I drove somewhere far all by myself (it only took 7.5 hours due to my impecable sense of direction.)

8. Both Scavenger Hunts...they were so fun! TP-ing Matt, Watching Joey stop traffic with a plastic whistle, Getting lost in NYC...unforgettable !

7. Turning 21. Its a roadmark, and now some people believe i'm not 15! (Well not really)

6. Unassigned territory with my congregation. It was a smaller group than in years past, but when you're surrounded by new jw's, you can't help but be moved by the love that forms nearly instantly. Very upbuilding.

5. California! In August I was in San Diego....LA, even Mexico....I heart the sunny state! (And Jamba Juice and of course SHAMU!!)

4. All the people I've met this year and the people I already knew that I became closer with. That includes everybody in brooklyn too! (Wow, i checked my datebook, and i found that my first encounter with you guys in the beginning of this year...i thought it was earlier than that)

3. Realizing not to care what other people think. If i want to perform hakuna matata...well than i'm gonna do it! (nola made that my ring tone! nola made that my ring tone! yes!) Its great to act silly, and if people don't like it....well, than they dont have to laugh!

2. Umm, my Ohio trip in March. I was tempted not to put this in, because...well you guys who know me know what happened with me and "ohio".....but, it really was one of the best weekends ever. I wouldn't want to get back into that weekend now...but at the time it was *magical* and as a flashback...deserving of the number two position.

1. RFTDC04- Man, i was amazed at how much fun i had and how many awesome friends i made. Twister on the hallway carpet, killer until we got yelled at, freeze tag in the park, red light green light by the reflecting pond...the list goes on and on. One of the very best weekends of my life. And i love all my dc girls...dc1-10 forever!! (oh, and since this is nina's blog, an inside joke just for her: sperm whale!)

musical selections
I named my own personal song of the summer
satellite-dave matthews band (sorry couldn't get a url for this song)
coldplay-the scientist
hands down- dashboard confessional
....and vindicated-dashboard confessional
and how can i forget....hakuna matata ;-) (inside joke for all RFTDCers)
