Becca and The Top 10

Rabsheka’s Top 10 of 2004
10. This was a tough one; it’s a tie between:
a)NAPOLEON DYNAMITE

and b) Susan’s anonymously authored blog of Sunday August 29th. That should definitely go down into the annals of blog history!

9. Meeting lots of new, really cool people: the Liverpool lads, an Aussie, some birds from Iceland, a few Canadians.

8. Playing soccer for the first time and having the satisfaction of KICKING THE PANTS OFF the opposing team! GIRLS RULE! Bring it on LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!! hey, that rhymes! I'd also like to put in this slot, discovering that I'm pretty much the best rhymer around. my house, that is.

7½. Watching Ronnie "eat" the dodge ball? :) just kidding.....jeesh.

7. Playing dodge ball in West Virginia. This won by leaps & bounds over baseball, especially being that we lost the ball w/i the 1st five minutes of playing. We donated more than just spiritual necessities to Logan County.....the school now has a new plastic baseball with holes in it thanks to our generosity. They probably still don’t realize this though since its on their roof.

6. California '04 - oh boy...."you kids keep me young". It was on this trip that I first learned that I could be mistaken for someone with Down Syndrome. Thanks Mikey!

5. Our last night in West VA, sitting on the roof of the hotel in the pouring rain watching the lightening flash across the vast sky and light up the surrounding mountains. Besides being an awesome, yet miniscule, display of Jehovah's power & love.....being w/ good friends made it even better.

4. Doing Unassigned territory in West Virginia, USA w/ the great folks of Kings County Congregation....and Matt and Mike and Chantal. This trip was made even more entertaining by the presence of mumu’s, coal trucks & copper-headed rattle snakes {yes folks, they do exist, if only in Dave’s mind}.

3. Having the privilege of going to Annual Meeting again and be enlightened, encouraged and inspired by some truly incredible teachers/people.

2. Going to the land of Eire w/ some of my favorite people (Nola, Nina, Jess & Joe....and meeting up w/ some other of my fave peeps in the world....DA HOMAN'S). Despite any bumps encountered, it was an awesome trip. God bless Guinness........and antibiotics ;)....and driving on the left side of the road! ....and Johnny Foxes....andslippery ground @ Cliffs of Moher.....and.....

1. Spending the majority of my social & theocratic life w/ 7 of the funniest, most entertaining, most loving & COOLEST people I have ever known. {Despite any impressions you may have, I am truly so happy to have you all in my life. I can only hope, in all of my desperate attempts, to someday be worthy of your friendship and be as good a person as all of you are individually. I LOVE YOU ALL!} These times were only hightened when we were joined others who just might be a bit cooler than we are
