Alyssa and the 2004 Top 10

> Spirtual stuff: i started my career as a pioneer in Feb 04. i had my first bible study. then i got my second bible study. and one of my studies is now an unbaptized pub!! and i got some really good calls this past yr!

> School stuff: I am a proud graduate of the class of 2004. i finished with HS jan 04 and started college feb 04. and so far college has been going really well. it fits around pioneering, i really like my major, and even though stressful at times, its something i really enjoy.

> Concerts: i went to some of the best concerts this yr!! Yellowcard(2x), Something Corporate, Sleeping @ Last, The Starting Line (2x) and of course JOHNNY MAYER @ Jones Beach where he waved to us from the safe confines of a bear suit!!!!!!!

> Car stuff: i took drivers ed, i passed my road test on June 30th. (the same day spiderman 2 came out in case ur wondering!) i got my first car in Sept. and in the 6th months ive had my licence, i have not had a car accident or been pulled over. a big accomplishment considering that Suffolk County has the highest rate of car accident fatialities in the country. o and i changed my first flat tire... by myself... in a skirt.... and no i didnt get dirty.. and yes i contunied service after all of that.

> RFTDC04: words can not express how great that wkend actually was. Its one for the ages. its one ill be telling my grandchildren about. we had so much fun in a very clean and nice city, well exept for all of those like circle things> that was a little confusing. i really enjoyed seeing all the stuff about Witnesses in the Holucaust Museum. and the spy museuem was fun. but i think some of my best times were when we just were walking around. like when we played red-light-green-light-123 beside the refletion pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. (i think we made forest gump proud!!) and when we played freeze tag in that art's park. and of course potbellys which really has amazing food and i wish they had one up here.... o well... just another reason to go back to DC!!

> People: i have made some really good friends this yr. and I really really really loved meeting all the brklynites. thats right.. all u ppl from Kings County!! i think ur all awesome and am so glad i got to meet ya!

> Scavs: while i was not an active particpant in either Scav #2, or #3, because i was the camera woman. ( "alyssa repeat this back to me,... this is NOT YOUR team!") i had tons of fun. in the July scav, my trusty captian Sarah was such a hard working leader who made sure we all had fun. and even if the team didn't win... we know... we would have if it hadn't been for Joe's team's trucker lingo extra credit. and then in the Nov scav. my trusty caption Erin, who is from OHIO!, made sure we were all in good spirts even though it was cold outside. and then the team won that one, which caused Joe's undefeated team.... to be well defeated!! over all they were both great times and im glad i had the privlege to be a part of them..
> MY room: For the first time in my whole life. i have my very own room. and its a very nice room too.

> Friendlys: it seems that friendlys just seems to be our place. we always seem to just END up there after a nite out. and it always ends the nite on the right foot.... and sometimes you just cant get better than those little things in life.... like watermelon serbert or a reeses pieces sundae.

> Brunette: this year i did something that i have never ever ever ever ever done before. I ditched my natural blonde and went brunette. and im proud to say that i didnt wimp out at it either!! but dont worry im going back to blonde soon, bc its really the true me. but i must say. blondes dont always have more fun. i think that lyssa's just have more fun. well at least i make it my goal to be happy despite my hair color!!
