Time to Write

The sky has turned from haze to blue

Crossing paths of old and new

And whipping winds across the green

Travel up thru bows of hues

And causes me to wish on you

That you may share this lovely scene

Traverse the old and broken roads

That overlook thatched abodes

Who carry you upon their backs

Passing sites where charm bestowed

Inspiration for songs that flowed

And laughter is slipped between the craic*

Now my way back to you is far

So I pass the hours counting stars

Thank you for my piece of time

For youth nor age shall ever bar

That which grows within this heart

Where searching eyes will never find

*pronounced "crack" which is an Irish/Gaelic word that means to be having a good time, etc.
