From the Desk Of Becca

Hmmmmm….two entire days devoted to me. What an honor! However I am humbled by the fact that it is out of sheer guilt on Nina’s part instead of anything I have done to deserve such a gift. Indeed, I dare say we all need to be humbled once in a while; some more than others (ie: me). Any who, I will not torture all w/ my self deprecation……no I will let you do that:)

So a glorious weekend lay behind me. I went upstate w/ my friend Juliana and some other sisters. We toured Watchtower Farms, which is so beautiful. When I use to live up there I could give the tour b/c every time a friend visited that’s where they wanted to go. However I have not been since I moved to the city 4½ years ago and it is almost a different place. It was really cool b/c the brother who toured us told us some pretty incredible experiences that have happened due to the new printery. They have brought in worldly contractors for a lot of work and the things that they realize about us and about the truth were really moving. Yes, this stone was actually moved to tears. If you want to hear more you can email me and I will tell you. It was great too b/c I got to see some old friends that I haven’t seen in a while. Its so comforting to know that especially in Jehovah’s organization can you just pick back up w/ those you have not seen in years. It made me realize how I need to not only appreciate the wonderful friends that I have around me more but also how I need to show that appreciation more. I truly feel blessed for all of you.

After touring we went out to the little pond in the middle of the complex and fed the fish. It was nice to see the little fish attack the pieces of bread we threw into the water. Even more amusing was then watching the big fish eat the little fish. :) Hey, those Bethelites have to get their kicks somehow. Hehehe

I also met two sisters from Iceland this weekend who were so cool, yet another plus for Jehovah’s organization. So after seeing the Farm we went hiking at Mohonk, which is a historical mountain house upstate…..so beautiful. The rest of the weekend was spent hanging w/ good friends old & new just enjoying life.

So my friends, the point of all this is: I LOVE YOU MAN! And darn it, I’m gonna try to say that more. So to end my blabbering for the day, here are a few pictures that amuse me and perhaps they will do the same for you. Enjoy.
