Dramatic Thursday

“I live in my own world, but its okay they know me there.” –Unknown

It has come at last…at last it has come. It is Thursday. A special day. Unlike any other day. Not because it is the day before Friday, which is splendid; but not as splendid as the fact …that…it…is…NOLA’S THURSDAY! Yes my fellow peoples, it is the day you always feared would arrive, for this one day I rule the world (Dr. Evil-type laughter ensues.) Well maybe just this blog…but nonetheless I am in charge.

What to write, what to write. I have dreamed of such an opportunity to make people be forced to hear my thoughts on life. Now I have to select wisely. I am sitting here at work, basking in my day. Rested from my one night of normal sleep. My kitten slept for the first time since Saturday. She woke me up at 4 am but that is a different matter. At 4 hours is better than 2.

I’m revved and ready to go for the weekend ahead. Tomorrow is another ill fated driving lesson with the main man Wayne. Hmmmm, tomorrow will he call me a ditz or an idiot? That remains to be seen depending on his mood. But tomorrow night…Hugh Jackman in “The Boy from OZ”! (Damsel like swoon) Gotta love the Aussie. I will assay theater with my trusted friend Sue! Not that this is of any importance to you, but when it’s your day you can write whatever you want!

Last night was dinner at Mercedes and Becca’s. Delightful company as always although I had to take some powerful blows from Brandon and Joe…imagine they were picking on little old me! Well maybe that’s no so unimaginable, after all I do occasionally leave myself open for a spar or two….or two hundred. Leave my Uncle Monkey joke alone Joe, it is a funny little anecdote and I love it! I will let all of you be the judge….

“What did the little monkey call his father’s brother?

Give up? --Uncle Monkey!

Does that not make sense or something? Oh well let the mock mail proceed!

Ahhh, now back to the daily grind of Unum Provident Insurance Company. I have truly enjoyed writing this. And I hope I have not bored you with my words. Feel free to post. Funny stories, Nola jokes, or nice things too.

This is the Queen of Drama herself signing off, enjoy your Thursday and remember...Save the Drama for your Mama!
